All about Ply
Ply refers to the number of yarns that are twisted together to make a single thread. Single-ply fabrics are made with a single thread, while 2-ply fabrics are made with two yarns twisted together to make one thread.
Owing to their construction, 2-ply fabrics are stronger, more durable with a luxurious hand feel while single-ply fabrics are more breathable and less resistant to wrinkling.
